Attended Chester Art College,gained a top honours degree from Liverpool Art College in 1976 and a post graduate qualification in psychology of perception from Liverpool University the following year.
Stephen has painted full time for over sixteen years, - much of this has been commissioned work including large scale murals in some of the most beautiful private houses, stately homes, chateaux's and castles both at home and abroad.
Many Paintings have been commissioned and can be found in collections around the world.

Stephen can create at any scale and enjoys the challenge of enhancing whole rooms or making small areas appear much larger. Huge vistas or a small niche.

Due to Stephens interests being extremely diverse his paintings cover many subjects. He has always worked in several styles.

Stephen illustrates for fun!
It allows great freedom without the constraint of"the art world" and yet can become high art.
